Women's Soccer Picked for NCAA Tournament, will travel to Cal Lutheran this weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS- UC Santa Cruz's women's soccer team received an at-large bid for the 2019 Division III National Championships.

The Banana Slugs (13-3-2) will play in Thousand Oaks against Cal Lutheran (12-3-3) on Saturday November 16 at 5pm. The winner will advance to take on either Emory University or Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Sunday.

UCSC enters the postseason on a four-game winning streak, including two shutouts to claim the ACAA Conference Championship. It's the 11th tournament appearance in program history, and second in three years under coach Lauren Nadler. The last meeting between the two teams was in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, which the host Regals won 2-0.

The Banana Slugs increased their win total by eight games over last season. Sixteen different players have scored 67 goals this year, second-highest total in school history and ninth-highest in the country.
